Adjunct professor of the alternate route teacher training program. Oversee three phases of the instructional program. Instruction focuses on helping Alternate Route Candidates develop teacher competencies with regards to subject area learning environment, professional learning, ethical practice, content knowledge, learning differences, planning for instruction, instructional strategies, assessment, and leadership and collaboration.

Focused on the improvement of curriculum and instruction throughout the district. Worked directly with the superintendent and board of education to develop goals, oversee programs, and supervise all areas of instruction throughout the district.

Dedicated to the continual improvement of the culture and climate of the upper elementary school with a student population of 1,000.  Spearheads all school human resources activity including the recruitment, hiring, training, performance evaluation of staff.  Launched a new safety and security plan. Achieved significant test score improvements over the seven years in the position. Increased services to the special education population and the number of higher level math classes per grade. Significantly improved the Gifted and Talented program. Developed a empowering learning environment for students, staff & community.
