Kim Rouse

How Educators Can Protect Their Intellectual Property

Kim Rouse is the Founder & CEO of Covenant Consulting, LLC. Kim has served as an intellectual property expert for over two decades. She brings a fresh perspective to help her clients achieve their business and intellectual property goals by advising them of their original authorship rights and successfully filing copyright, patent, and trademark applications. Ms. Rouse is a business owner, inventor, songwriter, publisher, and ghostwriter with over 120 published books for her clients of various genres, including business, children’s, finance, inspirational, psychology, and self-help. 

 

Kim is a member of the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) and assists several school districts as a substitute teacher for elementary and middle school students. She is the author of three children’s books that promote SEL in the areas of kindness, gratitude, caring, sharing, and empathy.

 

In addition, she has worked in the corporate legal arena for Fortune 100 companies, advising clients in the telecommunications, financial, and manufacturing industries.

 

Ms. Rouse served on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations and acquired grants to help fund educational programs in Southern New Jersey. She also hosted “The Covenant With You Morning Show,” an inspirational radio show where she featured music from independent artists and books by first-time authors. Ms. Rouse is a graduate of Syracuse University (B.A.) and Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D.).
